Notes:


  • It is best not to have the steam rise directly toward the electric or pneumatic actuator. Mounting at a 90 degree angle is recommended. Heat shields can also provide longer actuator life expectancy.
  • Although the valve is rated to 250 Deg F, it is best not to use electric actuators at higher steam temperatures.
  • Valve and piping need to be well insulated for steam service.
    Fail Safe Method is a Long Life Battery Backup. Spring Return Electric is also available.
  • For higher pressure steam, other seat and seal materials are available such as PEEK Seats, Metal Seats and Graphoil Packing.
  • Vball Control Valves for Steam are also Available
