Replace problematic solenoid valve with a ball valve and not have to run more wires. Most ball valve electric actuators require additional conductors to reverse the motor. We can replace your solenoid valve with a electric ball valve and you can use your existing wiring. Your ball valve will still fail open or closed. Ball valve does not need line pressure to operate. Electric ball valve actuator has manual override in case of power loss, you can still manually operate the valve. Electric ball valve actuator also has 2 auxilliary contacts that can be wired into an interlock circuit, plc controller, dcs system, alarms, trouble lights, etc. Actuator is water tight NEMA4 and Corrosion Resistant NEMA4X.

A full port ball valve will likely have 4 or more times the flow rate than a solenoid valve. You may be able to reduce your valve size and lower your cost by switching to a full port electric ball valve.
