3 Way Triclamp Stainless Steel Sanitary Ball Valve
3way Sanitary Triclamp Ball Valves are either Cavity Filled or Non-Cavity Filled. If you have Food in the Valve, you probably want Cavity Filled. If you have CIP Cleaning Solution in the Valve, then you Might be able to get by with Non-Cavity Filled. 3way Sanitary Ball Valves can be L-Port Flow Path or T-Port Flow Path. 2 Seat Design is Used when you Enter the Center Port and Divert Left or Right. 4 Seat Design Valves are used when you Enter Thru One of the Side Port and Want to Go Straight Thru or Divert to the Side Port. Consider a Tport Common Application, where, Normal Flow would be Straight Thru to a Filler or Ice Cream Packaging Machine and Diverting out the Side Port back to the Tank, when the Filler is Not Running.
3way Bottom Entry Ball Valves Have Several Porting and Flow Path Options. The Most Common is the L-Port in Which the Center Port is the Off Position or No Mixing is Desired When Switching Ports. That Option May Dead Head a Pump if Left in that Position, even Momentarily. 3way Bottom Entry Ball Valves are available in Brass or Stainless Steel and have Lever Handles or can Have Electric or Air Actuators.
